A little drama, a little quirkiness, and a major dose of fun is what you can expect from Katherine as your photographer. Inspired by Caravaggio and documentary photojournalism, she seamlessly blends the two to create wedding photography that feels both intimate and editorial.
I am a native New Yorker (Park Slope born and raised, baby!) but I’ve lived and worked around the world. After completing my International Relations degree at Tufts University and working as a freelance photojournalist for 2 years, I moved to Rome to work for the United Nations World Food Programme. I returned to New York after being hit by a car (a la Regina George in Mean Girls…full back brace and all) and soon after photographed a close friend’s wedding. I was hooked. Wilde Scout came to be, and the rest is history.
When I’m not shooting weddings, I can be found reading The New Yorker on the F train, dancing to industrial techno late night in Brooklyn, and trying not to kill my all of my plants. If you love quoting Broad City and browsing The Strand, let’s chat! Margaritas on me (it’s a lowkey addiction).
